Amelia’s Frozen Birthday Party

We celebrated Amelia’s 7th birthday party last Saturday at home with family and friends. It was such a great night! I kept the party simple, and created most of the decorations with items I found in the Christmas section of our local dollar store. We had a hot chocolate bar, blue “frozen” punch, frozen grapes, snowflake waffle cookies, a homemade cake, powdered “snow’ doughnuts, and pizza.  It was super fun night, and Amelia was showered with love and presents. Hooray for family! Hooray for awesome friends! Hooray for Amelia!

I knew when I took this photo, that it would be a favorite of mine. Amelia was playing dress-up this morning, and she looked so sweet in her felt crown, and silk gown. Amelia will be six in just a few weeks. I am so proud of the person she is growing up to be. High-res

I’ve been trying to take a photo of my girls kissing under our chalkboard mistletoe. It isn’t going so well. Maggie says kissing her sister is just out of the question right now. I did get a pretty photo of Amelia. I will try again later after nap time. Trying to get a nice photo of them both so we can order our Christmas cards. High-res
