Hello. We’ve just returned from a long weekend in Disney World. It was fun, chilly, and exhausting, but we sure do love our time spent there. It’s our home away from home. I’ll be back soon with some more photos. We stayed at an awesome Disney resort, that we are certain to go to again and again.

We had a fabulous weekend in Orlando. Beau and I took the girls to Disney World, so we could experience a little of their Christmas magic. We stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort for the first time, and we really enjoyed the hotel. I requested we stay in the 1950’s section, and it did not disappoint. I failed to get a photo of the pool, so here is a photo I grabbed off the resort’s website.

A bowling pin! Cool, right?

Here in Florida, we have been having very warm weather, so we actually got to swim in the heated pool, and not feel cold. It is pretty great to be able to swim on vacation in the middle of December.

The first night we took the girls to Hollywood Studios. Our main reason for going was to see the Osborne Family Lights. It was seriously one of the best Christmassy experiences I have ever had. There was snow of the fake variety that even stuck to your hair, and the lights are choreographed to music.

The next morning we checked out of our hotel and went to the Magic Kingdom. It was all decked out for the holidays, and the Dapper Dans were singing Christmas songs. Perfection.
