Spring Break

My girls are on spring break this week, so on Monday, we took a quick overnight trip to Orlando. We swam in the chilly hotel pool, had a fabulous dinner out, and spent some time in Downtown Disney. It was a slow paced trip, which we needed because the girls and I are recovering from being sick. Yesterday, we went to see Peabody and Sherman (we loved it!), and this weekend the weather will once again warm up, and I hope there will be a beach trip in our future.

Hello. We’ve just returned from a long weekend in Disney World. It was fun, chilly, and exhausting, but we sure do love our time spent there. It’s our home away from home. I’ll be back soon with some more photos. We stayed at an awesome Disney resort, that we are certain to go to again and again.

We stopped in Orlando on our way home yesterday, and had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. Amelia really loved all the fish and jungle animals. I haven’t been to Downtown Disney in a couple of years, and was surprised to see a new theme restaurant, T-rex. It looks amazing, but I thought it might be a little scary for Amelia, so we’ll take her when she’s a bit older.
