You can see last year’s chalk festival here, and the year before that here.

The annual chalk festival has become a spring family tradition for us. This is the third year we’ve attended, and we always have a great time. The artists are so talented, and I am so inspired by their work. The girls and I always start at Starbucks, and walk down the entire festival and back. We also stopped by the produce stand, where the kiddos picked out some honey crisp apples, an asian pear, and a pineapple. The highlight for me, however, was finding this beautiful vintage Catherine Holm plate for only $10 dollars. It is the prettiest color, and now that I have two pieces, I officially have a collection.

Happy Weekend to you!

Perfect Spring Day

This morning we took the girls to an annual spring favorite activity, the Chalk Festival in downtown Safety Harbor, Florida. I am always in awe of what these artists can create with chalk on a sidewalk. We also visited Starbucks, a salted caramel latte for me, a hot chocolate for Amelia, and a chocolate milk for little sis. The girls got to create their own chalk art, and play with hula hoops. Hooray for spring and Sunday mornings.
