I won an Ebay auction for a set of 1950’s Cinderella glasses. They arrived yesterday, and Amelia is so excited.

One afternoon this week, I had some time between clients, so I took the opportunity to run over to a thrift shop near my work that I had never been to. I’ve tried to shop there before, but I could never time it to when they were actually open. This time, I finally had success. I only had a few minutes to browse, but I found a few neat things.

one: A plastic vintage Cinderella. Maybe a cake topper? Amelia loves it, and it was only $1.
two: (2) juice glasses. The perfect size for my girls to drink out of, 50 cents each.
three: An egg shaped milk glass container. I love the embossed flowers on it, $5.
Lady and the Tramp is being re-released on February 7th. I’ve already pre-ordered it to give to my girls on Valentines Day.
A Snow White scene made completely from Legos in Downtown Disney.
What a fun weekend we had! Saturday was my husband’s birthday, so I planned a weekend away in Orlando for just the two of us. I booked a room at the fabulous Renaissance Orlando, we had dinner at the Latin Quarter located in Universal’s City Walk, and we had front row seats to see The Blue Man Group. We spent the next day in Downtown Disney where they were having the annual Festival of Masters, and we had a lovely lunch at The House of Blues. It was such a wonderful weekend, and a great chance to reconnect with the mister.
Here are a few more photos from our Disney trip.
My mom and I took my girls to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween last night at the Magic Kingdom. What a a great time we had! No waits for any of the rides, amazing fireworks, trick or treating in costume, and a wonderful parade featuring all of the Disney movie villains. I highly recommend this annual event for you and your little ones.

I ran an errand to the post office this week, when a poster behind the register caught my eye. A new set of Pixar stamps will be released this August! I will definitely be buying some, and putting them away to use for Amelia’s fourth birthday party invitations.

On our summer to-do list.
This is a photo of my father and I at the Magic Kingdom in 1979. I am so thankful for his unconditional love and support. He is an AMAZING father and grandpa, and I thank my lucky stars for such a tight knit family.
Happy Father’s Day!

I loved this movie when I was a kid. I think we need to add it to the girl’s movie collection.
