I had to share this painting by artist Lucy Jackson. I am in love with it.
It’s been a while since I’ve done a Preschool Style post. Being out of school and routine, I hadn’t even thought about it until recently. We did a little shopping at Gymboree, and I thought you might like to see the girls in a typical summer outfit. Almost always in dresses, skirts, and sandals, we dress for the Florida heat. Amelia sports a top knot or braid most days, and I am trying to be better about putting the girls in sunglasses more often.
Amelia’s sunglasses + skirt are from Gymboree, and so is Maggie’s pineapple dress.

I simply adore this dress from The Measure.
I was just flipping through the new Pottery Barn Kids catalog, and they have the sweetest mirrors, that would be perfect for your little girl’s room.
Love for Japan
For as long as this red polka dot fabric lasts, 100% of the proceeds from this adorable skirt will go to the Red Cross Japan Relief. I’ve just ordered one for Amelia, and I encourage you to order one for the little girl in your life. This skirt comes in sizes 6 mo-6T.
Stylish dinosaur dresses for girls? Yes!
I surprised Amelia, and set up a tea party in her room while she was at preschool this morning.
My grandmother made the lovely quilt for me as a gift when I was a teenager.
