Florida winters really aren’t that bad, so my girls can get away with an outfit like this, even on a cold Florida day. When we woke up today, it was 58 degrees. We over slept this morning, so I decided to take some photos of the girls since we missed Amelia’s preschool start time, and were having a slower than usual morning.

Amelia’s shirt is from H & M, her stockings and skirt are from Target.

Maggie’s sweater is from Old Navy, her skirt and stockings are from Old Navy.

Preschool Style {Summer}

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Preschool Style post. Being out of school and routine, I hadn’t even thought about it until recently. We did a little shopping at Gymboree, and I thought you might like to see the girls in a typical summer outfit. Almost always in dresses, skirts, and sandals, we dress for the Florida heat. Amelia sports a top knot or braid most days, and I am trying to be better about putting the girls in sunglasses more often.

Amelia’s sunglasses + skirt are from Gymboree, and so is Maggie’s pineapple dress.

It’s been a while since we’ve done a Preschool Style post, but when Amelia’s new dress arrived in today’s mail, we were both eager to take some photos. Amelia’s dress came from Mani-Mina, it’s the second dress we’ve purchased from this shop, and we just love them! Amelia’s favorite part of the dress is the orange pocket. I think it will be worn a lot this summer.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, we love Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Mini line for Target. I’ve bought several pieces, and it’s just the cutest. The shirt Amelia is wearing is from that line, and she loves the mermaids on it. Amelia’s jeans are from Old Navy, and she is barefoot, because we took the photos after school today. First thing we do when she gets home from preschool is take off her shoes and dump out the sand. This kid LOVES the sandbox on her playground.

On a side note, we are really enjoying our new chalkboard door. It is so much fun to draw on, and lately, we’ve been leaving little love notes for dad to see when he gets home from work.

Preschool Style {Back to School}

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Preschool Style post. I was inspired to do one today when I found these vintage overalls in her 4T clothes. I bought them so long ago, I had almost forgotten about them!

I have been washing her new clothes, and pulling out the small things that no longer fit. It is always such a big job getting her closet and dresser school ready. Amelia heads back to the classroom a week from tomorrow, and she can hardly wait. I am excited to get some one on one time with her little sister, Maggie, while she is gone in the mornings. It will be nice to get back in to a routine again.

Amelia’s throwng up gang signs in the last photo. haha!

Because Amelia is petite, it is hard to find pants that fit her around the waist. She is tall & thin, thank god she didn’t inherit my genes. The pull on pants from Old Navy are a favorite item, because they actually fit her.

Love birds top is from Target.

Leggings from Old Navy.

Shoes from The Children’s Place.
