New sand for the sandbox is a sure sign of spring at our house. The girls were more than happy to plant their feet in the sand and spend an hour building sandcastles, and shooing our Italian Greyhound out of the box.
Maggie had to chase a chicken or two out of her playhouse, too.
If you are looking for a new outside toy for your young children, look no further than a sandbox. My girls LOVE it! The sand is cheap, we buy ours at Home Depot, throw a few beach toys in there, and your kids will have a blast!
I spent the morning outside replanting succulents, and Amelia played in her sandbox and blew bubbles. After about 30 minutes we were both red in the face and sweaty, so we jumped in the pool. It’s been a good start to the weekend.
