Busy Bee

This is what most mornings look like for Maggie. Her big sister is at preschool, and she is busy making big messes in her room. Jumping on the bed (supervised, of course) building with her wood blocks, playing her tiny red piano, coloring, and reading books are among her very favorite activities.

Maggie is still sleeping in her crib, but likes to practice sleeping in her big girl bed. She turns 2 in just two weeks, and I’m curious, when did you transition your child into their big bed?

Just a reminder, you can follow me on Facebook here.

I couldn’t bear the thought of buying any more toys to bring in to our house. So, for Maggie’s upcoming 2nd birthday, I ordered this playhouse to go in our back yard. It has a mailbox, working doorbell, and a fold down table. I imagine many hours of play and fun will be had in this sweet little house. High-res

Clean Sheets Day

Fridays are clean sheets day. All three beds get new bedding. Here’s a photo of Mama & Papa Bear’s bed, and the two baby bear’s beds.

What does your little ones bed look like? What does your bed look like?

Attach a photo so we can see.

Maggie {21 months}

My little Maggie is so grown up, she is so much fun and so much work right now.

She is curious, silly, and sweet, and constantly on the go. I hate the term terrible two’s, because this age is really not terrible, just a little challenging at times. I still have some tricks up my sleeve from when Amelia was this age, so I feel better prepared this time around.

Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you, Maggie and Amelia are wearing matching dresses today.

Maggie, 20 Months Old

Maggie is a girl on the move. Taking her picture is nearly impossible, she is always in motion. I skipped a 19 month update all together because I tried to get a picture of her, and they were all blurry.

Maggie’s vocabulary is still growing every day, and she is now speaking in short sentences. She has reached the terrible two’s or tantrum toddler stage, and this part, I could do without. She is very vocal with her frustrations, and let’s me know when she is unhappy.  Oh, boy.

Maggie’s hair has FINALLY started to grow, but I still needed to use a baby velcro bow to put in her hair today. She is teething, again, and has her hands in her mouth, alot.

I can’t believe she’ll be two in just 4 months.

What was your little ones favorite gift this year?

Maggie {18 Months + 1 Week}

And just like that, my baby is one and a half years old! This little girls loves to play with her baby dolls, and spends hours pushing them around in their toy stroller. Maggie loves to climb & dance, but her very favorite thing to do is play outside in our backyard exploring and getting real dirty. Some of her new vocabulary words include pretty, juice, and baby. She can point to her nose, mouth, eyes, and ears, and loves to show you where your facial features are, too. Maggie weighed 24.5 pounds and measured 33 inches tall at her recent doctor appointment.
