Our Wedding Fiesta
I’ve already shared some photos of my girls ( they were the prettiest flower girls) from our wedding day, our ceremony, and our wedding portraits. Now, here is a look at our reception. We had the reception on Clearwater Beach, with mexican food, a candy table and karaoke! It was a hoot, and exactly what we wanted. I think everyone had a great time.

Amelia + Maggie {Flower Girls} Part 1
Our photographer captured some really sweet photos of my girls at our recent wedding. I thought you might enjoying seeing some of my favorites. They were the prettiest little flower girls, and stole the show. I split the photos into two posts so it would be a little less image heavy. Enjoy!

The Ceremony

The ceremony was my favorite part of our wedding celebration. The reception was amazing, but the ceremony was perfection. I was relaxed and in the moment, and I felt so much love in the room from our family & friends. We had beautiful Florida fall weather, and the light streaming into the tiny historical chapel we were married in was so pretty. Pure joy!
If you missed the wedding portraits I posted last week, you can see them here.

I am excited to share some of my favorite wedding portraits with you all! My photographer, the lovely and super talented Maria Felton did an AMAZING job, and I have hundreds of beautiful photos from our wedding day. I will share some more here in the future, but the majority of the photos + details will be shared on my wedding blog here.
High-res
I got to see my GORGEOUS wedding photos for the first time tonight, and I am so happy with the way they turned out! I will get all of my photos next week, and will share them with you here, but in the meantime, here are some photos of my beautiful bouquet.
High-res
Amelia in St. Martin.
It’s been super quiet around here lately, I know. I’ve been too busy getting married and taking my honeymoon or “familymoon” to blog. We’ve just returned from a 7 night cruise to the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Martin. So many photos and stories to share with you all, but first, I have a mountain of dirty laundry to do!
Happy Anniversary to my fella. Five years ago today we had our first date, and we’ve been stuck like glue ever since. I can’t wait to be your wife. Only 12 days to go before we say “I do”!
Rainy Days & Apologies
It has rained here in sunny Florida all afternoon. I think summer is having a hard time letting go. The girls and I took advantage of the gray afternoon, and had a much needed family nap.
I must apologize for the silence and lack of excitement around my little space as of late. Our wedding is only 3 weeks and a few days away, and I have been consumed with errands and meetings and to do lists that consist of things like must tell dj to put the Chicken Dance and Macarena on the DO NOT PLAY LIST.
In addition to our upcoming wedding which will be followed by a week long “familymoon”, I have been putting the finishing touches on Amelia’s upcoming fourth birthday party. I have invited all ten of her preschool classmates, (because I am a crazy person), and I recently rented a giant princess castle bouncy house for the entertainment, a.k.a potential trip to the E.R. Fingers crossed, nobody gets hurt.
Beau and I did manage to squeeze one last date in before our wedding madness this last weekend, and took a trip to Busch Gardens so we could do all of the things we normally can’t when we have the kiddos. The best part for me was when we saw a mama anteater carrying her baby on her back. Seriously adorable.

Also, I know I’m late to the game, but I went to Target yesterday, and managed to find a Missoni sweater for Maggie. There wasn’t much from the collection left, which was disappointing, but I really shouldn’t be spending money right now anyway with the wedding and vacation coming up. Here is the best photo I could find of the sweater.

Speaking of sweaters, I did manage to find time to decorate the house for fall. It’s amazing what a few plastic pumpkins can do for your mood. We will get our first cool down with dry air this weekend when our lows finally dip into the sixties. Perfect timing for our family picnic we have planned on Sunday.
I promise to be back soon with some new and fun posts. I missed doing a 16 month shoot with Maggie this month because we were busy having fun at the Magic Kingdom. I plan to snap some photos of her this week, she is doing all sorts of new things now. I also plan to do a complete overhaul of this site in November, and will do another contest for free ad spot on Modern Mommy just in time for the holidays.
I hope you all are enjoying these first few days of autumn. It is my very favorite time of year.
